"Is this all?"
The lady spoke
Out of turn,
Waiting for answers.
"Am I everything?"
Still she utters,
Interrupts the flow
Of ample conversation.
"Am I all-encompassing?"
She rises to fever pitch,
Demanding reason
From an undemanding audience.
"Answer me!"
She pleads in panicked tones.
"Answer me,"
She whimpers now.
Then silence.
The lady departs
And somebody mourns
In apologetic whisper
"Is this all?"
